Rock On Top has been working with pre-cast concrete pavers and natural stone to create stunning sidewalks, patios, and driveways for many years. We also build retaining walls, planters, and stairs using concrete blocks. These products are available in a wide variety of colours and sizes, making it possible to create hardscapes with a truly unique look. A flagstone walkway or patio also makes a desirable addition to almost any yard. Along with new installations, we also do repairs and full resets of paving stone that has sunk or shifted.
We regularly deliver and install trees and shrubs in the Edmonton area, including large caliper trees. For the best results a tree needs to have an appropriate growing site and soil that offers good drainage. We can recommend many popular trees and other plants that do well in this hardiness zone.
Nothing makes an outdoor space more soothing than a pond or the sound of water trickling over a large boulder. Rock On Top can build a water feature that fits both your space and your budget.
Lawns are a big part of the landscape in Edmonton, so Rock On Top naturally installs and removes sod. If you don't mind mowing, grass is a low cost and low maintenance way to approach your yard. It's not much to look at though, so many of our clients have portions of their lawn replaced with hardy plants, boulders, and decorative mulch.
Mowing edge provides a hard line that separates the lawn from other landscape features. Usually made from concrete pavers or retaining wall capstone, it delineates bed lines, makes the lawn cut easier, and reduces the amount of grass trimming required. Combined with a shredded wood or bark chip mulch, it makes an ideal perimeter around coniferous trees that can be moved out as the tree grows.
Always wanted a feature boulder? It goes without saying that we love big rocks here at Rock On Top, and we've installed some truly epic boulders in the past. The key things to consider are the size of the rock, how it will be delivered, and how it will be moved into the desired location in your yard.
