All the sod gets removed from this small back yard to make way for flagstone paths, plants, and a gazebo-shaped round wood pergola. We also installed new stairs, artificial turf, and concrete piles for a large metal trellis.

Here we installed a patio in the back yard of a duplex in McLeod Ridge. They decided on a Mega Libre paving slab which is designed to look like flagstone when finished. It has a charcoal Holland border and a small garden wall made using Weston Stone.

For this older house, a new patio not only improved the back yard, it also resolved a common drainage issue along the foundation. Roman pavers made by Barkman are used, and it's a good example of a random pattern using four sizes of paving stone.

This nicely designed rear patio was close to twenty years old and was sinking very noticeably. The stairs and surrounding walls had also shifted. We lifted just about everything, corrected the walls, straightened the stairs, and brought the pavers back up to grade.

This project involved a major upgrade to a small pond we had built years earlier, making it a much more prominent feature in the yard. It's now home to a number of large fish.

In addition to replacing their driveway, this client decided to remove an old wood planter along the side of their house and have it redone in concrete blocks.

This small back yard in Bonnie Doon was all sod when we started. The grass was removed and replaced with a paving stone patio, a large planter, and flowerbeds. We also built trellises and refinished the lower woodwork on the deck.

This round patio and walkway were installed in a new yard on a subcontract basis for Yards Unlimited before they finished the rest of the landscaping. These are Cobble pavers from Expocrete, and the middle is done with a circle kit.
